Camisha Butler is an Atlanta-based emerging multidisciplinary artist, craft preservationist, writer/researcher and educator. A lifelong storyteller and creator, she earned her BA in Film at Georgia State University and a MS in Fashion Design from Drexel University. Her work takes a Neo-Luddite approach in preserving and promoting the traditional craft practices of her ancestors through colorful aesthetic, weaving, garment construction, embroidery and handbuilding pottery.
